MC EXPERIENCE

Brad "Potts" Pottinger has been in the radio industry since 2006. A graduate of the Australian Film, Televison and Radio School in 2006, Potts' radio career has seen him work in Rockhampton, Townsville, Cairns, Bunbury and Perth. He is currently the Content Director and workday announcer at 6iX in Perth. Previously he was at 96FM for 6 years here he worked every shift (breakfast, mornings, afternoon, drive and nights) including anchoring the Carmen and Fitzy Breakfast Show from 2016 - 2017. He was the #1 rated afternoons announcer in 2013 and 2014.

Potts’ MC style is relaxed and casual and ensures your event or show is run smoothly and importantly on time.  Whether it’s a small event introducing guest speakers and clients, or a concert in front of 4000 people, Potts will make sure the show goes on without a hitch.

His love and knowledge of sport is on show when he host's functions for sporting organisations. Since 2019 he has been an MC at Fremantle Dockers home games at Optus Stadium. He was the MC in the Dean Kemp Club at every West Coast Eagles home game at Subiaco Oval. He is also at home on stage in front of thousands of people having hosted A Day On The Green concerts at Kings Parks and other concerts/festivals around Perth. He was also the on ground announcer at the 2014 WAFL Grand Final between East Perth and Subiaco.

RADIO INTERVIEWS

Throughout his radio career Potts has been lucky enough to interview a range of celebrities, musicians, sport stars and politicians.  His work has taken him to Tokyo to interview Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley from KISS and watch their gig from the side of stage. There has been a trip to Auckland for the 2014 Big Day Out to interview bands such as Pearl Jam, Arcade Fire, The Hives, The Lumineers and Tame Impala. There has also been backstage interviews at the Soundwave Festival in Brisbane and Perth with Blink 182, Linkin Park, Offspring, Alice In Chains, Korn, Placebo, Richie Sambora, Limp Bizkit and many more.

Politicians interviewed include Prime Ministers: Kevin Rudd, Julia Gillard, Tony Abbott and Malcolm Turnbull.

He has a very thorough knowledge of sport and even did a radio drive show with cricket legend Brad Hogg on 96FM. Through his work at the West Coast Eagles he has interviewed past AFL stars such as Anthony Koutoufides, Glenn Archer, Matthew Richardson, Doug Hawkins, John Platten, John Dorotich, Dean Cox, Peter Bell, Simon Black, Sam Mitchell and current West Coast Eagles players. Other big name sport stars interviewed include: Kelly Slater, Taj Burrow, Mick Fanning, Justin Langer, Mike Hussey, Damien Fleming, Geoff Marsh, JP Tokoto (Perth Wildcats).
